NiCr60/23 have excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature, good carbonization resistance, good resistance to oxidation sulfur atmosphere, and has good mechanical properties at room and high temperature as good resistance to stress corrosion cracking performance due to control the carbon content and grain size, Inconel 601 had a higher creep rupture strength, therefore it is recommended to use in the field of above 500 ºC.

Distinctive features of Karma resistance wire

1) Starting with Nickel Chromium electric heat wire Class 1, we replaced some of the Ni with Al and other elements, and thus achieved a precision resistance material with improved resistance temperature coefficient and heat electromotive force against copper.
With the addition of Al, we have succeeded in making volume resistivity 1.2 times greater than Nickel Chromium electric heat wire Class 1 and the tensile strength 1.3 times greater.

2) The secondary temperature coefficient β of Karmalloy wire KMW is very small, - 0.03 × 10-6/ K2, and the resistance temperature curve turns out to be almost a straight line within a wide temperature range.
Therefore, the temperature coefficient is set to be the average temperature coefficient between 23 ~ 53 °C, but 1 × 10-6/K, the average temperature coefficient between 0 ~ 100 °C, also may be adopted for the temperature coefficient.

3) Electromotive force against copper between 1 ~ 100 °C is also small, below + 2 μV/K, and exhibits excellent stability over a period of many years.

4) If this is to be used as a precision resistance material, low temperature heat treatment is required to eliminate processing distortions just as in the case of Manganin wire CMW.

Inconel 625, a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy contains 9% Moly, serves effectively as both a corrosion resistant and heat resistant material. The combination of high-temperature strength and resistance to halogen attack, oxidation, and carburization has made alloy 625 a popular choice for chemical and petrochemical process equipment exposed to hostile, hightemperature environments.

The high alloy content of Inconel 625 enables it to withstand a wide variety of corrosive environments. The alloy is almost completely resistant to mild environments such as the atmosphere, fresh water and seawater, neutral salts, and alkaline media. In more severe environments, the combination of nickel and chromium provides resistance to oxidizing chemicals, and the combination of nickel and molybdenum provides resistance to reducing conditions. The molybdenum content also makes Inconel 625 highly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. The columbium stabilizes the alloy against sensitization and prevents intergranular corrosion. The high nickel content provides freedom from chloride stress-corrosion cracking.
